Description

Dedalo AI is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures, developing data pipelines, and optimizing data systems to support our software emissions measurement platform. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that data is efficiently collected, stored, and processed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in developing scalable data systems.


Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data architectures for our software emissions measurement platform
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity
  • Optimize data systems for performance and scalability
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to ensure efficient data processing and analysis
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements
  • Implement security and data privacy measures to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data systems and processes
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering

Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related field
  • Proficiency in SQL and one or more programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Scala)
  • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes
  • Strong understanding of data storage systems, data processing frameworks, and distributed computing
  • Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations (e.g. GDPR, CCPA)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
